Dr Gael McDonald is Professor Emeritus Global Development Portfolio, RMIT University. She is an education strategist actively engaged in initiatives to improve undergraduate and postgraduate management education programs.
Gael is the former President of RMIT University Vietnam, Pro Vice-Chancellor of the Faculty of Business and Law at Deakin University and Secretary of the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC). She holds a Doctorate from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia and a Bachelor of Business from Massey University.
Her management experience has included Vice President International, Vice President of Research, Dean of Business and Professor of Business Ethics at Unitec, New Zealand. She was a past President of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM).
Gael is a member of the Consultative Committee for the QS International Trade Rankings and the Advisory Panel for the HF Guide to selecting master’s programs in international business and trade.
