
Antoine Oger
Acting Executive Director, Research Director, Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP)
Antoine Oger is the acting Executive Director and Research Director at the Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP).
He works with partners across European Union (EU) institutions, international bodies, academia, civil society, and industry, to produce evidence-based research and insights on EU sustainability policies.
His current research work focuses on the coherence of the EU’s internal and external policies related to trade, climate, and circular economy. He previously worked for over 12 years on the provision of trade-related technical assistance to developing countries through the delivery of the EU cooperation policy. His recent publications include IEEP policy reports on the "long-term linkages between climate objectives and international trade and investment" and a briefing on "Trade for an inclusive circular economy: A framework for collective action" developed with Chatham House. Antoine holds a MA in European Politics from the Institute of Political Studies of Rennes in France.
