Hinrich Foundation scholarship

The Hinrich Foundation and Li Ka-Shing Foundation is offering two scholarships of NZD $30,000 for each successful candidate.

This scholarship enables international students with work experience to study in New Zealand, a country that is proactive in regional trade agreement formulation. Students can select advanced specializations in international business, including international trade and finance, and competing in Asia.

The University of Auckland's Master of International Business is an exemplary program on the Hinrich Foundation Guide to Master's in International Business and Trade.

This program covers subjects employers need their leadership talent to have, including cross-border trade, policy, finance and strategic management within a global context. It also features program attributes that equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their careers in global business.

The Hinrich Foundation Global Trade Leader Scholarship supports talented international candidates, enabling them to join this world-class program and contribute to mutually beneficial and sustainable global trade.

Eligibility

Open to full-time enrolled international students (non-New Zealand citizens) and:

  • Have at least 5-years’ work experience
  • Display a strong interest in working in global trade.
  • Display a strong interest to work in Asia following graduation
Application Deadline

31 January 2025

Scholarship graduates will be encouraged to engage with the Hinrich Foundation Alumni Association (HFAA) for mentorship, networking and possible career opportunities.
